Join Our Cricket Blast Program This Summer!

Our club has proudly hosted the Cricket Blast program for over 20 years – and there’s no better way to get your child involved in cricket than starting with us!

Woolworths Cricket Blast is an action-packed program for kids aged 5 to 7 of all abilities, designed to teach the basic skills of cricket in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.

Program Details

Starting 13th of November 2026
10 fun-filled sessions
Friday Nights 5:00 - 6:00 PM
1-hour duration per session
Located at the Tyabb Cricket Club Nets (Bunguyan Reserve )

Safety & Inclusivity

All equipment supplied – including plastic bats and rubber balls
Activities include softer balls, different ball sizes, and blind cricket balls
We focus on your child’s abilities, not disabilities
Our environment is welcoming, safe, and suitable for kids of all abilities

We are very fortunate to have 2 former yabbie juniors in Skye Stroker and Max Preston

as Blast Facilitators this season.

Both are friendly and extremely

enthusiastic members of the club

who will do a great job running

the sessions.

They will be ably supported by

junior Co-Ordinator Paul Dent

and current committeemen and fellow blast parents in James O'Keefe and Pat Mathieson (former blast Co-Ordinator).

When you register you receive a blasters pack and 10 fun filled sessions with 5 sessions before and 5 sessions after Christmas. .

Starting 13th of November, the program will utilise both the enclosed nets training facility and the main ground at the Bunguyan Reserve.

Program Dates are as follows:

November: 13th, 20th, 27th

December: 4th, 11th

January: 29th

February: 5th,12th, 19th, 26th
