Junior player toolbox 2025/26
Registration
To play Junior cricket for the 2025/26 season you will need to register in Play HQ. In case you are registering for the first time, or just need to brush up on how to register, below is a video taking you through the step by step process of registering. If you would prefer a written version of the registration process please click on the play HQ icon next to the video player.
When you register as a Junior player there will be $145 fee. This will cover the players membership and insurance premium for the season. Any Junior who is registering with the club for the first time will receive a free Tyabb cricket club playing shirt.
If you are not registering a player but are still involved with the club, we would still like you to register as a volunteer, official, coach etc. There will be no fee but helps to allocate roles in Play HQ and with our membership registry.
If you have any problems with the registration process, please contact James O'Keefe (at tyabbcc@gmail.com or through our socials) and he will provide assistance to all players and families with registrations as required.

Rules and Policies
Please ensure that you have read and are across the club policies & senior playing rules section of the website. Pay particular attention to the Player Code of Conduct, Cricket Victoria Member Protection Policies, MPCA Junior Playing Rules.
This season junior teams training nights are as follows:

Under 10s – Wednesday afternoons

Under 12s – Wednesday afternoons

Under 13 Girls - TBC

Under 14s – Tuesday & Thursday afternoons

Under 16s – Monday & Thursday afternoons
This season we will be fielding junior teams in each age group of the MPCA junior competition and they play on the following days:

Under 10s – Friday nights

Under 12s – Saturdays

Under 14s – Sundays
-
Under 16s – Wednesday and Friday nights
Additionally, Cricket Blast will continue to be held on Friday nights, providing a fun and engaging introduction to cricket for our youngest players.
We will also field an Under 18s team in the Norm Jardine Shield Tournament. Please note that this team is part of our Senior Club structure.

To get the Fixtures on your phone your phones/mobile devices
you will need to download the Play Cricket App. You can get
it at the Google Play or Apple App store. Once you have downloaded
the app and have logged in, select Tyabb teams that
you would like to follow in the competitions tab.

Fixtures for the 2025/26 will be available closer to the start of the season.

merchandise
We're excited to announce that our official online merchandise store is now live! Currently, on-field merchandise is available for purchase. Off-field merchandise will be available a little later on so keep a lookout for it.

junior player sponsorship
Player Sponsorship is a great way to support both the individual and the club.
For $80 per junior player sponsorship, each sponsored player receives a free training shirt, proudly displaying their sponsor’s name on the back.
The sponsor receives advertising on your training shirt, rotation on the Advertising/TV screens inside the club, invitation to sponsorsday & promotion as a player sponsor on the clubs facebook page and Website.

training Attire
The expectation is that where possible we wear the clubs training top or white/creme shirts to training.
insurance
Coverage under the policy is included when you register and pay your child's fees online. Please click the links below and make yourself familiar with what is covered in the policy with particular emphasis on the pesonal injury claims.
