Club Championship
The club Championship is a measure of the most successful club onfield across all senior grades over the MPCA competition. Scores are calculated by wins and a weighted score from 1st XI down is tallied and then averaged out on a points per team basis. The Club with the highest aggregate wins. The club received the award for the 2006/07 season.


jack Peacock Cup
The Jack Peacock Cup is the limited overs tournament run by the MPCA. It is played amongst all clubs in the competition. It originally was a 40 over one day competition, but has since reverted to a T20 competition. We won the tournament in the 2000/01 Season, playing the final vs Frankston East at A H Butler Oval (Frankston Peninsula CC Home ground)


M.P.C.A 60 year aniversary Teams
On 7 August 2026, the MPCA held a special function celebrating 60 years since forming from the amalgamation of the Northern Peninsula Cricket Association (NPCA) and the Southern Peninsula Cricket Association (SPCA).
As part of the celebrations, the MPCA announced its Best Team of the First 50 Years, along with six Teams of the Decade, recognising outstanding players and their contributions across the association’s first six decades.

Team of the first 50 Years
Two Tyabb players were recognised for their outstanding performances for the Tyabb Cricket Club, with both named in the Best Team of the First 50 Years of the MPCA. Don Clarke was selected as the opening batsman, while all-rounder Jeff Slocombe was named at number five in the batting order.

Teams of the decades
Both Don Clarke and Jeff Slocombe were again recognised for their outstanding performances for the Tyabb Cricket Club, with both players named in the 1965–1975 Team of the Decade. Jeff’s remarkable consistency and longevity saw him earn further recognition, with his selection in the 1975–1985 Team of the Decade as well.
